erkstyn:

“Back when I was a youngin’ - (this was probably taken in ‘81 or ‘82) my father had a close friend named Bob Klem who managed the Toys By Roy toystore inside the Forum 303 mall in Arlington, TX. Mr. Klem was a huge Star Wars buff. He also taught a class at UTA, and that class hand made these amazingly accurate costumes. (Greedo’s feet even had suckers on the sole.) Mr. Klem thought us kids would love seeing the stars of Star Wars right in our own living room, so they all came over one night. They brought the Jawa costume and my older brother Thomas put it on and we had a great time hanging out and taking pictures. One of the pictures my father took ended up in Starlog or Fangoria later that year - and we thought we were the coolest because these guys all hung out with us. “
